Much better VR glasses than the standard Google cardboard!

Last year I got my hands on the Google cardboard VR glasses and fell in love with Virtual Reality, The games and movies really come alive in these. So when I got opportunity to get BlitzWolf Virtual Reality Headset I jumped on it!

Some features of the headset:-

  • [Spectecular 3D Reality Vision] By positioning view angles of your both eyes and 3D tech flash, you will see immersive 3D virtual reality through the lens.
  • [Eyes Protecting Lenses] 8-Layer nano coating lenses to reduce 90% of phone screen radiation and harmful blue light reflection, we've done the best to assure your long term enjoyment.
  • [Adjustable Pupil & Focal Distance] Turn the upper knob to adjust the pupil distance from 55mm to 75mm; Twist the side knobs to adjust the focal distance while you wearing.
  • [Works with up to 6" Cellphone] The clamp is capable of holding all phones of 3.5"-6", effect as watching a 320" screen. We advise you half-lying while wearing to get best comfortable position.
  • [Download 300+ VR Apps] VR 3D image is different as normals, you can download over 300 Apps at Google Play or Apple Store.

My experience using the headset:-

We have had this unit from Blitzwolf for several weeks now, and were initially unimpressed because we did not know anything about Google Cardboard at the time and just tried to view 2D movies with it... without downloading any apps. Really stupid!
It took a couple weeks for us to have the time needed to do proper research, and download several apps to our phones, and now we get it. While this does not have the switch found on the actually cardboard devices, we found several apps via Google Play that work without the switch and have had a ton of fun. Could easily get lost in Google Earth for days at a time. Bottom Line: If a neophyte like us, do a little research first to find the apps you would like to try out and get information on what this is all about. Then try out the different VR headsets to see which you like best. This headset produces a fantastic image (used with my HTC Droid DNA) and we really like it. However, when actually in use the weight of the phone makes the nose bridge almost unbearable after just a few minutes of wear. Therefore, we find ourselves keeping both hand on the headset to keep the weight off our nose... that works, but the next iteration of this unit's design needs to fix the issue.

I'll highly recommend the product. I received this product at promotional price in return of my honest unbiased review - this is my honest review after extensively using the product. Would recommend regardless.
