Customizable Motion Sensing Light socket that comes with a LED bulb!

I was looking for a non-technical and very easy to install exterior light to put up in my porch awning. So while looking on Amazon, I came across this Motion Sensor Light Pro Motion Sensing Socket Plug. It comes with a LED bulb, so it worked out even better for us as we are in process of changing all bulbs in our home to LED bulbs.

My experience using the product:-

I use this as an exterior security light because of increasing security concerns in our area. I have a small awning where my light socket is so the bulb is protected from the elements. The socket cannot be covered by anything including my glass sconces as it will interfere with the motion sensor. I had observed the spread of the motion sensor is so wide that it lights up even when cars drive by my block. This mean it works, but it also meant it got really annoying really quickly because it would be on all the time at night. So I used the instructions it came with to tweak the sensitivity. This essentially narrows the spread of the motion sensor. Now it only comes on when someone steps in front of my house but not when cars pass by and works exactly how I want it.
